The Malaysian Civil Ensign.
"A civil ensign is a flag
flown by all civilian vessels to denote their nationality. Usually it is the
same as the National Flag on land, but Malaysia follows the British tradition
of using a red flag with the National Flag at the 'canton' (quarter).
"Malaysia has thirteen states. The fourteenth stripe on
the National Flag denotes federal territories such as Kuala Lumpur."
