Kea Lani Hotel, Maui

We stayed at the Kea Lani for 9 days. The hotel was the site for Miho and Ari's wedding.

The hotel is pseudo moorish, with domes pierced by round windows. There are no rooms, just suites and ocean-front villas.
Our suite had a big balcony with sunrise view of Kaho'olawe Island.
There are plenty of birds - white herons, partridges, and this cardinal.

All the birds we saw are imports, like this Brazillian Red-capped Cardinal (Paroaria gularis.)

Sunrise hits the Polo Club next door an hour before it hits our balcony.
